So ya, I'm trying to become a cop now, mainly because becoming a detective would be sexy and making 40k (to start) + awesome benefits sounds pretty fucking good. Also I'm looking into the State Troopers, there I would make 33k but I could double that on my offtime working for 50 an hour.

Nuff about that.

I'm back at Dominos. I work between 35-40 hours a week at nights and weekends and I take care of the baby the rest of the time, ya I'm fucking tired. My boss is cool as shit though, so I don't hate my job.

I've got an 1891/30 Mosin-Nagant (long) on lay-away at the Army-Navy store. All serials match up, and it's in good condition. I've got another $176 to pay off on it. I'm torn between riping it apart and putting a new stock on it, and putting a good scope on it, or just leaving it alone. It's not even close to being of collecting quality, shit it only cost $200 retail + taxes and shit. I could easily turn the gun into an animal of a sniper rifle for another 200 or so.

Kazakhstan beat Latvja today. Team USA can lay down against Russia and still remain in 4th place in pool B for Men's Ice Hockey. Either way, we'll probably get our ass handed to us by the high flying/undefeated Finns tommorrow. I've seen pretty much every game this Olympics with the exception of most of the 5 A.M. games and the ones that were played on Saturday, and I've yet to see anything short of fantastic play. Even the Italians (who have a core of Americans who married hot Italians) have played well, going 0-3-2 in their first Olympics.

Finally done with the brake job. Fucking guy at Auto Zone gave me pads for rear disc brakes....... Grand Am doesn't have rear disc brakes.

Pops came home, we got it knocked out in less than 3 hours, not bad considering we had to go beachside to get new rotors.

Brakes were fucked because the right caliper was partially rusted into place. The back pad on the right rotor was just stuck, and ground into the rotor. Pad was down to metal, and the rotor was totally fucked.

...AutoZone guy with your back supporter thing, and your goofy glasses, and your inability to find the correct fucking brake pads.

Spent 2 hours getting one of the front brakes ready to be worked on, and I find that the son of a bitch at Auto Zone gave me the wrong brake pads.

I can't get the shit all back together, and then back to Auto Zone, and then back home to fix it again in time for work at 4, so I had to call in, and my boss is going apeshit. I'm like "look, I tried, and I'm the one that's shit out of luck, sorry I can't come in until like 7". So I won't be working tonite, and I don't even know if working at the Papa is worth it anymore, I'm so fucking fed up with delivering pizza.

I have to change my oil about as often as I piss (translates into, my car is worth nothing and it's barely 3 years old). It's pointless to wash my car, because it'll just get covered in shit and mud the next day. Gas is flat out ridiculous. Top that all off... I'm tired of working with pricks and bitches.

Job search starts this week, and I'm not settling for something like pizza again.

So last night two of my managers were talking about skanking and moshing. I piped up and said that skanking was just flat out gay (unless Ashley does it, which would just make it retarded, and awkward given her current state). Well one of my managers (the one with the lisp) didn't think that was funny, and just stared at me with that "I don't like what you just said, but I'm a big pussy, so I'm not going to say anything" look. Also the 3 other people in the store just kinda looked at me. So I guess Jimmy the Lisp is in fact gay, or so his reaction would lead me to believe.

Popped over to EA Online to play some NHL 2006 against a worthy foe.

They picked Colorado, and I of course went with the Leafs. Turns out it was two bitches playing against me, so that should make thier D better.... guess not.

Pwned them. I went up 3-0 in less than 5 minutes (accelerated clock, so really it was like a minute 30 in real time). They take a timeout and then exit so they wouldn't have a loss.

Like wtf? I wasn't even totally dominating, granted I won every face off and I was a passing GOD, but they still had a chance.

Why are people such pussies?

Some dude handed me my ass with a side of my smashed nuts when I went online for the first time with '06. I lost like 12-1, and the one I got was because he pulled his goalie just to be a prick, but I sucked it up and let him kick my ass.

I got Madden on PC about a week ago. Ya, it's not hard. Franchise mode is fucking horrible. Is there a way to stagger salary and not pay bajillions in signing bonuses? Anyway, at least I can play Madden and not want to go do something more constructive like, hmmmmmmm, beat myself in the face.

Anyway, I got bored of Madden, so I picked up NHL 2006. It was cheap, and I don't mind wasting an hour or 2 a day on games, since that's pretty much my downtime at the end of the day.

THIS IS THE WORST FUCKING GAME EVER MADE!!! HOLY MOTHER OF FUCK ME TO TEARS!!! Top it off, I bought it at Best Buy.... SO I CAN'T EVEN RETURN IT!!!

Now I realize that most of you don't play hockey games, so I'll make an analogy. You're playing Madden or some other football game, and your defense doesn't work. I don't mean it's buggy, I mean that your defense actually doesn't work. Like say your on D, and the AI snaps the ball, and the only dude on D that is actually playing D is the guy you're controlling, everybody else just stands there or falls down.

I shit you not, that is how bad the defense is in NHL 2006. Tie that with the absurd goaltending, and you've got a recipe for frustration. I honestly don't think I'm going to play it anymore.

Christ it's horrible. I'd bitch on the EA forums, but I know I'd be ridden off of their for not sucking EA's cock. However, I did leave a clear and tasteful comment on the EB site, perhaps they'll post it in a few days.

You know, back in like 95, EA made awesome games for Sega. Now, not so much. But hey, let's all watch the NBA, MLB, and NHL follow the NFL and put their licenses up for bid, and watch EA gobble them up, and every sports gamer can bend over and get fucked in the ass. You watch, EA will own sports gaming come 2007.
